Ante Meridian

Blending thought-provoking lyricism with hard-hitting boom bap production, Ante Meridian is the hip-hop duo of Rozewood (Amityville, New York) and Mr. Enok (Montgomery, Alabama). The two artists first connected in the spring of 2011 through mutual friends at Mr. Enok's home studio in Atlanta, Georgia. After recording three songs together in a single day, it was immediately clear that their chemistry was something special.

Building on that momentum, Ante Meridian quickly established themselves as one of the Southeast's most exciting independent hip-hop acts. Following the release of their debut EP, 3 A.M. Poltergeist, the duo shared stages with acclaimed artists including Raekwon, Curren$y, Skyzoo, and Freddie Gibbs, earning a reputation for intelligent lyricism, commanding live performances, and a sound that balanced classic hip-hop foundations with a modern edge.

Signed to Autumn + Colour in 2014, Ante Meridian released Sons of Heaven, a project that further showcased the duo's lyrical depth, cinematic production, and undeniable chemistry. With authentic storytelling, razor-sharp wordplay, and an unwavering dedication to their craft, Ante Meridian carved out a distinctive place in independent hip-hop while continuing to push creative boundaries with every release.
